(ENGLISH) - Shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday, a Crawford County jury found Alva Sibbitt, former Paoli school superintendent, guilty of four criminal counts stemming from a traffic stop nearly two years ago.
70-year-old Sibbitt was convicted of intimidation and resisting law enforcement, which are felonies; and resisting law enforcement and criminal recklessness, both misdemeanors.
Sibbitt say he plans to appeal.
His sentencing is set for Oct. 29th at 1 p.m.
Sibbitt, was arrested Dec. 9, 2010. He was found guilty of ramming the Paoli Community Schools van he was driving into a parked patrol car.
