(BEDFORD) - The Bedford North Lawrence choirs are trying something a little different, a fund raiser. This Saturday, the choirs will host a mattress sale.
The sale will take place at Parkview Primary School, on Brian Lane Way, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. BNL Choir Booster President Betsey Makzimenko says other choirs have done this and have been very successful.
About 20 sets will be on display for shoppers to try out and a team of mattress pros will be on hand to answer questions.
Layaway is available and purchasers can expect delivery in one to two weeks.
Choir students are raising money for new costumes, competition fees and a spring break trip to Washington, D.C. BNL choirs includes Chorale, Star Sound, Starlets and Mixed Ensemble.
If a purchaser knows a choir student, he/she should mention the student's name when buying a mattress.
