(BEDFORD) - Three people were arrested after a report of a battery in the 800 block of 16th Street Thursday night.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, police were called to a home in the 800 block of 16th Street at 11:11 p.m. after a 19-year-old male reported he had been hit by another male.
"He gave officers a description of the male and the vehicle he left in," Parsley says. "Police found the truck at 17th and I Street and detained the individuals."
Police arrested 20-year-old Ricky Terrell, of Bedford on charges of battery causing injury and resisting arrest.
"Mr Terrell did not want to cooperate with officers and became combative," Parsley says.
They also arrested his 17-year-old female passenger for juvenile delinquency and illegal consumption.
Police back at the residence on 16th Street arrested 19-year-old T.J. Strait, of Bedford and a 15-year-old Bedford female. Both were charged with illegal consumption.
Parsley says the females were released to their parents.
