(PROSPECT) - The Indiana Department of Transportation reports traffic on U.S. 150 in Orange County will be stopped temporarily on Friday.
Traffic will be stopped intermittently about 1.5 miles east of the Prospect junction. Multiple stoppages will take place, none lasting more than 15 minutes between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Stopping traffic is required to allow materials to be delivered to the job site. All lanes will be stopped in each direction as materials are off-loaded from the trucks.
Local authorities will be on site to aid in traffic control and inclement weather could postpone the stoppages.
INDOT reminds motorists to follow the posted work zone speed limit, use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a work zone.
