(MITCHELL) - A man in his 70s was injured Saturday after a vehicle backed into him while he was walking to the feed mill.
According to Mitchell Police Chief Mike Hardman, the name of the man is not being released.
The man had parked on the south side of Main Street and was walking across the street to Hancock Grain & Feed at Main when a "tannish foreign car" backed into him.
The man suffered bruises to his right upper hip area and his leg.
Hardman says the man refused an ambulance and told police if the pain got worse he would see his doctor.
Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call police.
