(MORGANTOWN) - A Nineveh man is dead and a Trafalgar teen is facing a murder charge after what police said started as a fight over a woman.
20-year-old Brad Price died after being shot multiple times Wednesday night in Morgantown.
Police arrested 19-year-old Justen Alain Knapp, of Trafalgar, on a charge of murder.
21-year-old Bryan Scott Wooldridge, of Brown County, was arrested on a charge of assisting a criminal with murder.
Morgan County Sheriff Robert Downey says the fatal shooting happened just before 7 p.m. in a field on South Hickey Road, about a mile north of the main intersection in Morgantown.
Downey says after the shooting Wooldridge drove Knapp to the field and he helped him get away and hide the gun.
Price was found dead in the liquor store parking lot at the intersection of State Roads 135 and 252, where his friends had brought him, police said. The parking lot is just a couple doors down from the police station.
Price and Wooldridge are being held at the Morgan County Jail without bond.
Wooldridge was currently out on bond from a Class C felony burglary case in March, in which he and three friends were accused of stealing items from a rural Trafalgar property.
In that case, the homeowner shot and wounded one of Wooldridge's friends.
