(ORLEANS) - The Orleans Chamber - Satellite Visitor Center, located on the north side of the town square will remain open and staffed on Saturdays, in conjunction with the Orange Co. Homegrown Orleans Farmers Market through the end of October.
October hours will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Orleans Chamber Exec. Director Robert F. Henderson said the center, which operates in partnership between the chamber and the OC CVB provides visitor and tourism related information on Orange County and surrounding areas as well a number of special and seasonal events.
A special DVD presentation on Historic Orange County has been recently developed and presented at the center during operating hours.
In addition to providing visitor information the chamber offers a number of Orleans related items for purchase at the center including the new Historic Orleans commemorative throws, postcards, note cards, dogwood magnets & license plates, ornaments, Orange County coloring books etc.
Visitor information, maps etc is also available year round outside on the chamber side after hours or when the center is closed.
There are also stanchions in the entrance way of Orleans Town offices that hold Orange Co. Visitor and Events Guides as well.
