(ORLEANS) - An Orange County man was injured in a two car accident Thursday morning on Ind. 37 south, just outside of Orleans.
According to police reports, 45-year-old Robert Moffatt, of Paoli, was driving a 2002 Chrysler Town & Country south on Ind. 37 when he did not see a 2001 Ford Ranger truck driven by 52-year-old Jeffrey Shipman, of French Lick, who was in front of him stopped at a flagman due to road construction.
Moffatt attempted to swerve to avoid the collision but was unable to.
Shipman complained of chest and shoulder pain and was taken by personal vehicle to a local hospital to have his injuries treated.
