(SEYMOUR) - A 20-year-old Jackson County man faces charges after he reportedly tried to lure two underage girls he met on Facebook into having sex with him, police report.
Daniel Kyle Dresnek-McGinn of Seymour was arrested Friday at an apartment complex on South O'Brien Street on two Class C felony charges of child solicitation, according to Detective C.J. Foster with the Seymour Police Department.
"I conducted the interview, and he admitted to speaking to the girls and trying to convince them to have sex with him, but he never actually met up with them," Foster said.
The investigation began Thursday night when one of the girl's mother called police to complain that her 12-year-old daughter and another 13-year-old girl had been corresponding on Facebook with a man later identified as Dresnek-McGinn.
"He was attempting to meet them and have sex with them," Foster said of the conversations the man had with the girls, who also live in Seymour.
