(MITCHELL) - Spring Mill State Park will have its annual Scarecrow Weekend in the Pioneer Village Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, attendees will be able to carve pumpkins, build scarecrows and make crafts.
From 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., visitors can stroll through the Haunted Village.
The village will be dark, and even though it's a family-oriented event, the park does not recommend that parents bring children younger than 8.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early as lines are long and the front gate will begin turning away cars at 8:45 p.m. Those not in line by 9:20 p.m. will not be admitted.
On Sunday, there will be more craft programs and pioneer games.
