(BEDFORD) - GM spokesman Robert Wheeler confirmed two people were injured at GM Bedford Casting Plant Wednesday afternoon.
The Bedford Fire Department and ambulance crews were called to the plant at 3 p.m.
The two men, from Bedford, were flown by helicopter from the plant at 4:47 p.m. Wheeler says they were flown to a Louisville Hospital and that GM representatives were also on their way to the hospital.
Wheeler says no other details about the accident were available and that a health and safety team would be called to investigate the accident.
