(BRYANTSVILLE) - Two people were injured after the vehicle they were in collided with a deer Thursday night.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 55-year-old Robert Webb was traveling east on U.S. 50 West near Bryantsville Road when a deer ran into the path of his 1993 Chevrolet truck.
Webb's truck collided with the deer. The truck then went off the south side of the road and hit a tree.
According to police, Webb broke his upper right leg and had cuts on his right forearm.
His passenger, 51-year-old Lisa Webb, suffered a small cut on her lower right leg.
Both were taken by ambulance to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital for treatment.
Police found the deer dead on the north side of the roadway.
