(WASHINGTON) - 30-year-old Daniel Westfall, of Washington, is now in Daviess County and in jail at the Daviess County Security Center.
He was arrested Wednesday in Lawrenceville, Ill. in connection with a stabbing of two teenage girls on October 6th.
He has been charged wiith two counts of aggravated battery, two counts of battery resulting in serious injury; two counts of battery by means with a deadly weapon and a count of battery resulting in bodily harm. He is being held without bond.
The charges stem from an incident in the 900 block of East Walnut Street, in which Westfall allegedly attacked two females who were walking home from the Haunted High haunted house in on Main Street in Washington.
According to police reports at the time, the two females received cuts to the face in the attack.
According to a report in the Washington Times-Herald, Westfall was sentenced for child molesting in 2009 and has been in and out of court in connection with the conditions of his probation on that conviction. Westfall is a registered sex offender.
