(BEDFORD) - Bedford Revitalization, Lawrence County Extension Office and Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce announce their 2nd Annual “Windows of Wonder” downtown window decorating contest.
This is an idea dedicated to enhancing the look of downtown businesses and getting the community involved in the holiday season. Businesses, clubs, and individuals are invited to decorate a window of a downtown business using the 2012 Theme - Songs of the Christmas Season. Existing downtown businesses may decorate their own windows.
The window display must be complete by noon of the Parade Day. Two winners will be selected and announced at the Bedford Christmas Parade.
Numbers will be issued for each entry for people's choice voting purposes. Ballots will be available at the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, Lawrence County Extension, and various businesses around the square. People's choice voting is open from 4 pm to 6 pm on December 1st. Ballot box will be located at the Lawrence County Extension Office at 924 16th Street.
Entry Forms may be obtained at the Lawrence County Extension Office or online at www.ced.purdue.edu/lawrence or www.bedfordchamber.com. Entry deadline is November 30th. Call Susan Gales, The Lawrence County Extension Office or the Chamber with any questions.
