(BEDFORD) - 24-year-old Damian Lamb, of Bedford, was arrested after he allegedly trashed his apartment and battered his girlfriend.
Police were called at 2:06 a.m. Saturday by the manager of Ted Jones Apartments, reporting Lamb was covered in blood and causing a disturbance.
"When officers arrived they found Mr. Lamb yelling and being disorderly," says Assistant Chief Joe DeWees. "Things were thrown around and there was broken glass. We believe Lamb was injured while destroying the apartment."
While at the apartment police discovered Lamb's girlfriend had been injured.
"Officers found his significant other inside the apartment and it was clear that Lamb had injured her during the altercation," DeWees says.
Lamb was charged with domestic battery, public intoxication and disorderly conduct and taken to jail.
