(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was injured Tuesday night after she crashed her car on 25th Street.
According to a Bedford Police report, 40-year-old Amanda Scott was traveling west on 25th Street approaching Mitchell Road when she lost control of her 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier on the wet roadways.
The car went off the left side of the road and hit a street sign.
The car then continued south onto the Duke Energy property and hit a chain link fence, knocking it and two fence post down.
The vehicle then continued to travel through the fence and stopped near the substation.
Scott complained of hip and leg pain.
