(BLOOMINGTON) - Here’s good news for people traveling to Indiana University and other destinations in the Bloomington area: Most lanes along the Indiana 45/46 Bypass on the city’s east side have reopened to traffic.
Indiana Department of Transportation spokesman Greg Prince tells Most of the travel lanes were open by Wednesday and permanent traffic patterns are in place following several months of construction that created tie-ups during IU's home football games and other events.
Some minor restrictions remain, and construction and utility work continue in one area.
