(BLOOMINGTON) - A morning cyclist found a 22-year-old woman stumbling along the side of the Bypass between Third and 10th streets at about 6:26 a.m. Saturday. The cyclist called police.
The woman told police she couldn't remember anything that happened after midnight, only that she had been partying at the bars. She could not remember where her purse was and thought she might have left her keys at a friend's residence.
According to Bloomington Police Lt. Faron Lake, the woman believes someone had slipped something into her drink while she was at the bar.
Police took her to the Bloomington Fire Department station at the corner of Third and Jefferson streets. Her father picked her up from the station.
Police say the case is still under investigation.
