(BLOOMINGTON) - An 18-year-old Bloomington man was arrested on charges of child molesting after two incidents with a toddler.
The man was a juvenile at the time of the crime. Police say on the night of October 15 the child's father reported his 4-year-old son may have been molested.
The father told police he and his son were playing and watching television when the child told him a family friend had sexually assaulted him.
According to Bloomington Sgt. John Kovach, during an interview at a child advocacy center the boy told police the same story.
Police questioned the man on Thursday at the police station and the man told police that more than a year ago, when he was 17, on two different occasions he and the boy who was 2-years-old showered together and that is when he touched the boy in a sexual manner.
