(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police are searching for a man shown in surveillance footage at the Winston-Thomas Sewage Treatment Plant on Gordon Pike, the site of at least three arsons since August 6th.
According to police logs, Fires were also reported on August 19th and 31th.
Bloomington Police Department Detective Sgt. John Kovach says the fact the man is shown in the footage is not necessarily indicative that he is a suspect, but he may have helpful information that can be used in obtaining a lead in the case.
Motion cameras were installed at the old plant in an effort to identify trespassers on the private property.
The property is now used by the city as a storage area. The fires damaged a number of construction tubes and a limestone building - the construction tubes were damaged in the Aug. 6 blaze and the building was reported engulfed in flames on Aug. 31.
