(BROWN COUNTY) - Brown County Sheriff’s Officers have agreed to have their head shaved for a Salvation Army food pantry fundraiser.
The event has been deemed "Operation Shave." Proceeds will benefit the pantry's effort to provide food to folks on Thanksgiving.
The goal was $1,000, but that has been surpassed so the fate of Officer Terry West's hair is sealed. He got his new hair style Sunday.
The next goal is $1,500, which if reached would result in West's fellow officer, Kyle Shelton, getting his head shaved.
Several Brown County businesses and individuals have already contributed.
To donate, contact Tammy Board Arnold at (812) 720-0190 or message her or West on Facebook.
