(TASWELL) - Birdseye, Celestine and Schnellville firefighters were called to assist in putting out a house in Taswell in Crawford County Sunday night.
The house was reportedly vacant and has been for some time.
The cause of the fire has not yet been released.
On Monday morning, Jasper firefighters were called to a car fire at Jasper Engines and Transmissions.
Jasper Fire Chief Kenny Hochgesang says a car belonging to Rodney Divine of Loogootee was destroyed by the 6 a.m. fire. The fire was started by a faulty fuel system. No one was hurt.
