(NORMAN) - Authorities in Jackson County say a hidden trail camera helped solve a recent burglary in Norman.
24-year-old Josh Dewayne Silvers, of Medora, and 35-year-old Eldon William Sullivan, of Tunnleton, face burglary, theft and trespassing charges in connection with the burglary reported November 15.
Jackson County Sheriff's Department Officer Dustin Steward says police obtained photos from a trail camera that had been placed on a utility pole on the property in the 4600 block of South County Road 1200W, where the burglary occurred.
The investigation began Nov. 15 when Steward and Officer Jesse Hutchinson went to the property and talked with a neighbor about a camper that had been broken into. The neighbor told police he watches the property for the owner, who lives in Indianapolis.
