(LINTON) - Linton-Stockton senior Austin Karazsia is one of the candidates for the coveted Indiana Mr. Football Award.
Karazsia, a 6'7" senior, is among the quarterback leaders in the state.
Through 13 games as he has led the Miners to a perfect 13-0 record and a second straight semistate appearance (7:30 p.m. Friday night at home against Indianapolis Scecina).
Karazsia, already the all-time Miner single-season and career leader in virtually every passing category, has completed 233 of 325 passes for a completion percentage of .716.
He has thrown for 3,199 yards with 41 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
