(DUGGER) - Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating the death of a man discovered in the Green-Sullivan State Forest.
According to DNR Officer Shane Cooper, Sullivan County Sheriff's Department received a call Thursday around 6 p.m. about a parked vehicle located near Green-Sullivan State Forest archery range in Sullivan County.
When police arrived they found the body of a man in his mid-20s inside the vehicle. The man's name is not being released.
The vehicle was parked on the range, located behind Pit 26 near the forest's four-way bridge.
Sullivan County Sheriff's Department dispatcher Rachel Shew said investigators were still on the scene at 9 p.m. Thursday.
Indiana State Conservation Officer Jay Baker is the lead investigating officer on the case, assisted by the Sullivan County Sheriff's Department, Indiana State Police, and Dugger Town Marshal David Heaton.
