(MITCHELL) - The students and staff at Mitchell Junior High School are coming together to support Andrew Terrell in his fight against leukemia.
A contest is under way at MJHS that involves students picking which teacher they would like to see get his head shaved during a student convocation.
Tyler Phillips, Steve Grissom and Jordan Key are the teachers involved in the contest. There will be canisters set out at lunch with each teacher's name on them.
Students will put money into the teacher's canister they would like to see get his head shaved. The teacher with the most money at the end of the day on Nov. 20 will get his head shaved during a short convocation on Nov. 21.
Additionally, students will be able to buy a chance to be the person who will shave the teacher's head for $1.
Andrew is at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis and began another round of chemo today. To follow Andrew's progress visit Andrew's Story on Facebook.
