(HARRISON TOWNSHIP) - A Harrison Township home was destroyed by fire around mid-day Wednesday.
At 11:39 a.m. Daviess County 911 received a call reporting a structure fire at the Theroff residence on County Road 625 South in Harrison Township.
The Harrison Volunteer Fire Department were on the scene about ten minutes later.
A little after noon firefighters issued a call for more manpower and for REMC to disconnect power.
Firefighters from Harrison Township were on the scene until a little before 2 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
According to firefighters the home was destroyed and the State Fire Marshal's Office has been contacted.
Details about the cause of the fire and estimates of total damage have not been released.
