(BLOOMINGTON) - After weeks of planning, the live auction to raise money for a kidney transplant for a Judah toddler Savannah Hovious will take place Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight at The Gathering/AMVETS Post in Bloomington.
Savannah will turn 2 on November 23rd. She has been on dialysis most of her life and is on the transplant list.
Her parents Kayla and Cory wait patiently and other family members work on fundraisers.
The Children's Organ Transplant Association estimates transplant expenses not covered by insurance could cost up to $30,000.
Donated items in the auction include an Indianapolis Colts football signed by Pat McAfee, Colts tickets, Indianapolis Indians tickets, Vera Bradley purse, American Girl doll, autographed Tony Stewart jacket, and a guitar signed by country music artists.
There will also be a drawing to win a restored 1950 Ford tractor. In addition there will be food, and music by Sheila Stephen & the Rodeo Monkeys and The Dynamics.
