Seymour Man Accused Of Child Molesting

Last updated on Thursday, November 1, 2012

(SEYMOUR) - 55-year-old Larry Cockerham, of Seymour, faces a felony charge of child molesting related to an incident reported late Saturday in Seymour.

He remains in jail at Brownstown in connection with the incident. Bond was set at $100,005.

Cockerham also faces a second charge of domestic battery.

Seymour Police Detective Brian Moore says Cockerham's arrest stems from an incident with a girl younger than 13-years-old. That incident was reported by a family member at 1:21 p.m. Saturday.

Moore says the girl lives in Jennings County and had been visiting a relative in Seymour when Cockerham allegedly molested the girl.
