(SEYMOUR) - 51-year-old Armando Gallardo, of Seymour, was arrested after police found photographs and videos of child pornography on his computer.
He was arrested Nov. 9th and charged with nine counts of possession of child pornography.
Seymour Detective Greg O'Brien said Tuesday that Gallardo's arrest stems from an incident in which Gallardo took a computer hard drive to a computer store to have some of its contents, including photographs and videos, transferred to a zip drive. They saw the pornography and called police.
O'Brien says, the material does not contain images of local children. Gallardo downloaded it off the Internet.
Gallardo, who has yet to appear in Jackson Circuit Court for an initial hearing, was booked Friday into Jackson County Jail in Brownstown.
He posted a $1,005 bond for a writ of attachment and $1,005 bonds for each of the nine counts of possession of pornography.
