(SEYMOUR) - A Jackson County woman was taken Thursday afternoon to Schneck Medical Center when she was injured in a three-vehicle wreck at Tipton Street and Community Drive.
Lacy Jarvis, 18, of Seymour complained of pain after the wreck, reported at 2:15 p.m., and was treated by personnel with Jackson County Emergency Medical Services, according to Seymour Police Officer John Watson's report.
Jarvis later was taken to the hospital, Watson said.
Jarvis was driving a 1999 GMC Jimmy east on Tipton Street and was turning left onto Community Drive when her SUV collided with a 2001 Dodge 2500 driven by Chester Nolan, 63, of Brownstown, Watson said.
Nolan's truck ended up on the northeast corner of the intersection after it struck a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria driven by Linda McGill, 68, of Freetown.
Watson said Nolan and McGill were not hospitalized after the wreck.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation, Watson said. Watson said he had issued no citations in the collision.
The wreck created problems for motorists in the area, including Seymour High School students who were just getting out of classes.
The wreck also led to a second crash that occurred on Community Drive just south of Second Street. No one was hurt in that collision, Watson said.
