(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Board of Works accepted a bid from T&G Construction to put a new roof on the TASC bus garage.
The company will also replace the garage floor, adding a washing bay for the buses, install a new bathroom to meet ADA standards, replace windows and renovate the office area.
The bid was for $139,351. The city received a grant from INDOT for $139,710 which will pay for the project.
Kristopher Floyd, of Christine Matheu Architect, reviewed all of the bids before presenting the one from T&G Construction for the board's approval.
Floyd told the board the city received 11 bids for the project and T&G Construction was the lowest.
