(PAOLI) - As Paoli residents gathered Sunday for the dedication of the Ruth Farlow Uyesugi Auditorium, a few of the longtime Paoli High School teacher’s often-uttered commands related to theater were called to mind.
When Mitchell's Gary Spear, director of the Orange County Players annual Madrigal performance, had his time to speak, he shared another of what we will call "Uyesugiisms": "Sell tickets!"
Gary likely figured he would be in trouble with Ruth, one of the founders of Orange County Players, if he hadn't pushed ticket sales.
Madrigals will take place at 7 p.m. on Dec. 6-8 at the Paoli First Presbyterian Church and will include the traditional feast as well as the holiday concert. Reservations are necessary and can be arranged by calling Larry Hollan at (812) 723-5675 or email to orangecountyplayers@hotmail.com.
