(BEDFORD) - The Starstrong Donut-a-thon 5K For a Cure will take place Nov. 17 at 9 a.m. on the Bedford North Lawrence campus and today is the last day to register to guarantee a T-shirt and donuts
The run/walk is a fundraiser for Starstrong, a student organization that raises money and awareness for cancer organizations.
Nearly 200 people participated in the 2011 inaugural Donut-a-thon and raised more than $3,000.

Participants can choose from a couple of categories:
Challenger: Run half the race, eat a dozen donuts, then finish race, one-hour time limit.
Challenger team: Two-person team. One person runs half the race, teammate eats the donuts, and runner finishes the race.
Slacker: Run or walk, get a box of donuts halfway through and finish the race carrying the box with you. No time limit.
