(BEDFORD) - Bedford Police are investigating a rash of vehicle break-ins that happened over the last few days.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, several vehicle were broke into in the 1500 block of P Street where a Garmin GPS was taken, the 2100 block of P Street, the 2000 block of O Street and on 19th Street between O and P streets.
Break-ins were also reported in the 900 block of 24th Street.
In some of the incidents nothing was taken, but the vehicles were ransacked.
Parsley says someone also attempted to kick in a garage door in the 2100 block of P Street.
Parsley warns motorist to park their vehicles in well lit areas and to lock doors.
"Almost all of the vehicle break-ins occurred to vehicle that were not locked," Parsley added.
Parsley warns all valuables should be removed from vehicle or locked in the trunk.
Anyone with information on the break-ins is asked to call the Bedford Police Department.
