(DUBOIS) - The driver of a 1997 Pontiac who was killed in an accident on Sunday has now been identified.
According to a witness, 50-year-old Scott Breeding, of Dubois, was seen driving at a high rate of speed on State Road 56, east of County Road 750 East when the vehicle left the roadway, went down an embankment and traveled in a ditch about 120 feet before striking an embankment head on.
Breeding had to be extricated by emergency personnel at the scene and was transported to a landing zone at the Dubois Crossroads where the he was transported to St. Mary's Hospital via Life flight, where he expired from his injuries.
