(UNDATED) - Gas prices are dropping across Indiana and the nation.
The Lundberg survey says gas prices have dropped 46-cents per gallon over the last two months.
Patrick DeHaan of Gasbuddy.com says gas prices are dropping due to normal volatility in the market. DeHaan says it's possible there will be a spike in the price of gas just before motorists hit the road for the holidays, but he says it just depends on the state of wholesale gas prices.
DeHaan adds that gas stations do not want to get caught selling gas at a loss through a big holiday.
