(GREENE COUNTY) - By order of the Greene County Board of Commissioners, as of 5 a.m. Friday, the Level III Warning will be moved to Level I.
Emergency Management Director Roger Axe says motorists are advised to travel at their own risk.
According to Greene County Highway Superintendent Brent Murray, INDOT is assisting crews to clear roadways.
Axe says county roads are impassable due to excess snow and slush causing wrecks and slide-offs. But crews have been working to clear them and hope to have all the roads open by 5 a.m. Friday.
Axe says progress has been made, but it will take most of the day and possibly into the night to get roadways clear.
Motorists are advised to travel with caution.
