(MITCHELL) - Mitchell Police are investigating several complaints of someone busting out the windows of vehicles.
According to Mitchell Police Chief Mike Hardman, the vandals are busting windows out of vehicles.
"But they are not taking anything," Hardman says. "We have received several calls in the last weeks about windows being busted."
Monday officers received a call at 8:01 a.m. reporting someone had busted out the windows of a vehicle parked at 5th Street and Grissom Avenue.
Then at 8:55 a.m. the department received a second call at 8:55 a.m. reporting the windows were busted out of a vehicle parked at the CSX Depot.
Hardman says that was the fourth report in less than a week reporting windows being broken out of vehicles.
Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to call police.
