(BEDFORD) - 33-year-old Jennifer Edmonson, of Mitchell, suffered a bruise to her head and injuries to her left side when her car went off Tunnelton Road and rolled down an embankment Friday afternoon.
According to a report at the Lawrence County Police report, Edmonson was driving a 1993 Geo Tracker south on Tunnelton Road south of Horseshoe Lane when she says another vehicle was in her lane heading north.
She told police swerved to avoid it. And that is when the tracker slid on the wet pavement, grazed a utility pole and went sideways over the embankment, coming to a stop on its top. Edmonson pulled herself from the vehicle and crawled to the road.
She was taken to Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.
