(ODON) - According to a report in the Odon Journal, the town of Odon faces a 12 percent increase in the cost of employee health insurance.
The Board discussed raising each employee's contribution by $5.00 per pay.
The Odon Town Board is also investigating moving to a high deductible policy with a Health Savings Account for employees.
The employee's deductible would be raised to $1,000 but $500 of the increase would be off-set by the creation of the H.S.A.
The Town Council will hold a special meeting December 27 to give them time to discuss the issue with Odon town employees.
