(ODON) - A Daviess County man escaped injury when his truck rolled over in an accident caused by a scared horse.
According to the Daviess County Sheriff's Department, Nicholas Rabe, of Odon, was driving an International truck east on Daviess County Road 1200 North when he came upon Michael Eagle, who was riding a horse and leading another which was not used to being near traffic.
As Raber's truck approached the horses and rider, the inexperienced horse reared up.
To avoid hitting the horses and the rider, Raber swerved, and went off the road way and into the yard of Martin Stoll. Police says Raber then over-corrected and the truck rolled.
Police says no one was injured, but damages were estimated at $50,000.
