(SALEM) - 28-year-old Michael Aaron Baker, who has special needs, is missing.
His mother, who is his guardian, last saw Baker at his Taylor Villa Apartment in Salem on December 18th.
She has posted messages on Facebook and posters around the area looking for her son.
The apartment had not been disturbed and she believes that her son is still in the Salem area. He has made no attempts to contact her, which is unlike him as he has disappeared in the past but made contact with his parents every few days.
Baker is prescribed daily medication, but has not taken it since he's been missing.
The Salem Police Department received a few unconfirmed leads, and is following up on them. If anyone knows of Baker's whereabouts or has seen him they are urged to call the Salem Police Department at (812)-883-5100.
