Three Bedford Residents Arrested After Police Find Drugs

(BEDFORD) - Three people were arrested at two locations Tuesday after police found drugs.

24-year-old Curtis Mitchell, of Bedford, was charged with dealing in a schedule II and III substance, dealing meth, possession of meth and two counts of possession of a controlled substance, maintaining a common nuisance and neglect of a dependent.

His girlfriend, 25-year-old Amanda Watson, of Bedford, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, maintaining a common nuisance and neglect of a dependent.

34-year-old Jeremy Marsh, of Bedford was arrested on aiding in dealing meth and possession of meth.

According to Bedford Police, Mitchell and Watson were arrested after police served a warrant at their apartment in the 100 block of N Street Tuesday morning.

According to a probable cause affidavit Mitchell and Watson were arrested following a November drug deal,, where a confidential informant bought meth at a home in the 1400 block of Third Street.

In addition to meth, the informant allegedly bought hydrocodone and oxycodone from Mitchell.

Bedford Police Department officer Jeremy Dodd coordinated the purchases through the unnamed informant.

According to police, n addition to Mitchell, his girlfriend Watson, the couple's 4-month-old child was at the home when the drug purchases were made. The child was released to a family member.

Marsh was arrested after police served a warrant at a business in the 1400 block of L Street.
