(WASHINGTON) - Author Josh Bleill whose book, One Step at a Time, has been nominated for the 2013 Eliot Rosewater Award, will speak to Washington students on Tuesday, February 5.
Bleill is an Indiana native, a Marine Corp veteran, and currently works in the Indianapolis Colts Organization.
Bleill's book recounts his service and rehab being wounded in action and losing both legs. He spent two years in rehab at Walter Reed Hospital.
The convocation will begin at 9 a.m. and will be held in the Hatchet House.
The event is free and open to the public. All guests should enter through Gate 6 and sign in at the main office before heading to the gymnasium.
