(BROWNSTOWN) - Brownstown Town Marshal Tom Hanner says putting more police on the streets of the county seat is making a difference.
To continue that progress, he asked the town council to approve his request to add three reserve officers to go with the four he added in recent months.
Reserve officers are required to obtain training and have arrest powers, but they do not get paid for the time they are on duty.
