(CARLISLE) - Greene County resident Frank Littlejohn has been promoted to the new Wabash Valley Correctional Facility Assistant Superintendent of Operations.
Wabash Superintendent Dick Brown said Littlejohn, of Linton, brings more than 16 years of solid experience as an Officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant and Correctional Police Officer (Wabash CPO Commander) to his new assignment.
Littlejohn has served as an Assistant Shift Supervisor, Housing Lieutenant over two segregation units and been a member of the WVCF Emergency Squad.
Superintendent Brown noted Littlejohn has been a Internal Affairs Investigator since 2006 and has extensive Security Threat Group (gang activity) knowledge.
Littlejohn graduated from the first Indiana Department of Correction Correctional Police Officer Academy in 2010.
Wabash Valley Correctional Facility, located in Carlisle is an adult male, maximum/minimum security complex with a housing capacity of 2,199 offenders. WVCF marked its 20th anniversary of service in 2012. Authorized staff totals 655, including custody and 113 contractual employees.
