(UNIONTOWN) - At approximately 4:30 this morning a semi overturned on I-65 southbound near the 38 mile marker, approximately 3 miles south of the Uniontown exit.
Traffic is being detoured from southbound I-65 at exit 41 then re-routed back south on U.S. 31.
Southbound traffic can re-enter I-65 southbound at Crothersville.
At this time there is no estimation on when I-65 will be re-opened. Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Department is investigating the crash.
