(JACKSON COUNTY) - A Winter Reading Tailgate Party & Movie is planned for the Jackson County Public Library’s Winter Read at each library location. The programs are open to all ages.
Led by AmeriCorps member Jill Waggoner, Seymour Library's party will be from 5 to 8p.m. Jan. 8 with a snow date of Jan. 15. Registration is required by Friday. Call 522-3412 ext. 1243.
Crothersville Library will hold its tailgate party at 4p.m. Jan. 10, and Medora Library's will be at 4p.m. Jan. 16.
To register, call 793-2927 for Crothersville and 966-2278 for Medora.
The public is invited to enjoy games, crafts and snacks and then watch a football-themed movie with other fans. The movie is rated PG and open to all ages. Parents should accompany children under 13. Refreshments will be served.
The Winter Read book is "Bleachers" by John Grisham. Other activities and book discussions are planned.
