(BEDFORD) - A Bloomington man was arrested after police received a call from a woman’s mother reporting her daughter was being held against her will.
Bedford Police went to a residence in the 3100 block of Ted Jones Drive Tuesday night to check on the woman.
When they arrived they found 31-year-old Clinton James.
Police say, James had been staying at the apartment with the woman.
James was arrested without incident on an outstanding Lawrence County warrant for failure to appear in court and new charges of criminal confinement, intimidation, domestic battery and domestic battery in the presence of a child younger than 16.
